The Womb Portal
The womb is our portal into this life. It is the connection point between spirit realm and physical manifest embodiment. This post is different than other’s I’ve posted because it’s in an interview format. And it’s all about my hypnotic work with the portal of the womb.
This is an area of hypnotherapy that excites and intrigues me. So much in fact that I have been conducting a type of research on the healing and insight available to us through the portal of the womb. I will be presenting a talk at the IACT (International Association of Counselors and Therapist) Conference on May 23rd. The following is an excerpt from an ongoing IACT column called Ask the Professional. Where they interview various hypnotherapists about the topics they are going to present on in May.
If your curious about my work in womb regression, don’t hesitate to reach out.
Excerpt begins here: April 2021. Volume 4.
IACT: Thank you for granting this interview Nora. What a great subject! I understand you’ve done some research on this subject, including case studies; More importantly, that you’ve facilitated womb regressions for nearly a decade. How did you first become involved in this type of regression?
NYY: Thank you so much for your interest in my work! It’s a real honor and privilege to be interviewed in this way.
I’ll go ahead and dive into your first question. My fascination with womb regression started the moment I discovered it was possible! This education took place in my transpersonal hypnotherapy certification training where we learned as practitioners, how to guide clients from childhood memories, into the womb and then beyond into past lives. When I saw the unlimited potential of re visiting the womb I was hooked.
As a twin, the idea that I could re-explore my womb experience for broader perspective, understanding and healing was captivating. I wondered, if I can return to my womb experience, and hang out with my brother again as we’re developing, what are the implications to me and my development as a soul in a human life? This opened a doorway to a realm of infinite possibilities that lit me up! To be able to go in consciousness to a place that the collective at large presumes is impossible to recall that was exciting and is even more so now. You could say I was blown open.
IACT: Can you recall one of your most memorable client success stories with us?
NYY: That’s a great question, and it’s tough for me to pick out one client’s success story over another. When a client has access to healing and insight in the womb, it is profound. I often find my jaw dropped open in amazement with what people are experiencing in these sessions. I’ll give you an example. In my sessions, I offer clients the opportunity to explore what was happening for their consciousness in the moments before their conception. Believe it or not, people are able to go there.
When clients access those soul memories, it changes the landscape. They are able to gain a broader interpretation of who they are. Often, but certainly not always – there is a sense from these clients that they’re coming into this new life with a powerful sense of adventure. Once in the womb and in the developing body, the soul consciousness begins to blend and anchor into this new set of human circumstances: inherited traits, mom’s psychology and circumstances, soul agreements etc. are all elements that this new being will be integrating, developing and adjusting to.
It’s fascinating to explore how this process unfolds for the fetus, and it appears that their point of view and perspective changes over time throughout the pregnancy.
It is a fantastic place to explore healing opportunities that relate to the clients goals. For instance, in experiences where clients feel unloved or unlovable, there is often something that is going on in the life of the mother that is being “picked-up” by the fetus. Perhaps mom is not ready to be a parent, financial stress, or there is discord in the mother/father relationship. The developing child can become imprinted with a sense of not being wanted. This can impact the baby so profoundly that it becomes hardwired and expressed in the personality; in essence, carrying that imprint into the life ahead.
What is so expansive about this work is the client can be guided to become aware of where the belief of being unlovable originated from. Imprints that come from outside the self of this developing baby, can be identified, shifted and healed. Reconnecting the client with the
wholeness that their soul came in with.
Accessing this awareness can be a game changer; helping clients move beyond early imprints and blocks that handicap clients before they even get started in life.
IACT: That’s certainly a great deal of information to absorb. Let’s go back to sharing a success story with us. I know you may have many, but one will give our readers a general idea on how your work progresses into a success story.
NYY: I’ll share a story that moved me deeply. A client wanted to explore her womb experience to confirm an inkling she had about having a twin brother that didn’t survive the pregnancy. She felt that it might
explain a deep longing, grief and guilt she felt in life. Her family had no knowledge of a possible early multiple birth or absorbed twin as it is called. My clients feelings of longing and loss were present daily. Feelings she felt she had to manage and navigate to simply function, always needing to push through. In session, she found that
she indeed did have a twin whom she loved dearly and felt deeply connected to. She was able to gain clarity about the reasons for her twin brother not making it to full gestation. She understood that his coming into the world was never a part of ‘the plan’. That he was there to be in the womb with her, to give her that sense of deep
connection with another being. Never to live beyond a brief time in the first trimester. This awareness and insight offered an opportunity for deep healing. She was able to release that sense of longing, loss and survivor guilt that had been burdening her since then. She also benefited from gaining a grounded sense of sovereignty within, which positively impacted all areas of her life.
IACT: This certainly is a specialized area. Where might one find specialized training in this area of Regression?
IACT: Where do you see the future of your work in, let’s say 10 years?
NYY: That is a terrific question! I see my work being more available in this country and internationally. I have just published one of my works in an anthology called The Art and Truth of Transformation for Women in 2020, and I love the idea of writing more. I plan on writing a book this year or next about my case study research on womb regression and I love figuring out new ways to create usable tools and products for people to access healing and wellbeing for accessing self sovereignty. Writing is just one way of doing this, and in 10 years
time, I hope to be well into working collaboratively with leaders of various disciplines bringing new publications, films, products and technology into the wellness field. My big goal is to support humanity’s evolution out of the old war paradigm and into the next level of higher conscious living. That is my soul’s intent and deep desire.
IACT: That’s great vision! In closing, is there anything you’d like to touch upon that we may have missed?
IACT: This has been a delightful interview. We look forward to learning more about this subject in May during conference week.
NYY: The pleasure was mine.
